The State Cabinet has considered the Departmental Estimates, and as the re-' suit, the taxation of income derived from personal exertion /will be reduced, probably to 3d in the pound. Certain rates embodied in the Stamp Duties Act will also be reduced. It is understood that the reduction does" not apply to company taxation. .
