JOCKEYS BLACK-LISTED?
Mr. F. Langstone (Waimarino) is asking the Minister of Internal Affairs whether he is aware that the New Zealand Racing . Conferende; is prohibiting forty youths from obtaining employment in any racing stable in the Dominion; and whether he will see that the .powers'of the-Racing Conference are curtailed in this direction? "Horse owners," says Mr. Langstone, "and trainers are warned under penalty not to employ these boys. ! They have been black-listed, and their names.are published weekly in tho "Weekly.Pi-ess and New Zealand He-, feree." The only wrong these youth's have done is that they left their previous employer without notice."
