"SAMSON."
The box plan for the Royal Wellington Choral Union's second concert of the season opens at. The Bristol at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning. The work selected for the society's 98th " concert is Handel's dramatic oratorio, "Samson." A fine rendering of the many beautiful solos and concerted numbers with which this work abounds is practically assured by the engagement of such artists as Mrs. K. Wildish, of Gisborne; Mis s Mina Caldow. of Auckland; Mr. Sydney Butler, of Christchureh, and Mr. Leii Barnes! The final rehearsal will take place at the Town Hall, on Tuesday, at 7.45. and the concert the following evening.
