ACCIDENTAL DEATH
SCHOOLMASTER DIES FROM
INJURIES.

WHAKATANE, This Day. Kenneth Sidney Brown, aged 23, died at the Whakatane Hospital on Saturday evening as the result of a shooting accident on 6th June. He -was headmaster at Otakeri School, and was returning to his lodgingsaafterrr being'out shooting hares in the afternoon. He endeavoured to pull his gun by the barrel through a wire fence when the weapon went off; and lodged the wad and- shot in the lower left chest. A severe wound was inflicted. Deceased never rallied. At the inquest to-day the Coroner returned a verdict of accidental death.
