SEATOUN CLUB-

The report of the committee of the Seatoun Bowling Club will be presented at. the annual meeting, to be held on 30th instant. From a financial aspect the season had been a satisfactory one. but as the finances of the club were taken over early in the season by the parent body, the Seatoun Bowling and Teunia Club, Ltd., the figures will be embodied in the balarfce-sheet of the latter concern.

Whereas during the previous four years the bowling members rented the green from the company and worked Tinder their own committee, ■in future the: whole affairs of the club will be managed by one body, which will be tne directorate of the company and the howling, club committee in one. The tennis and croquet sections will continue the conduct of their own internal affairs separately as in the past. J-he report congratulates members on the progressive policy of the club in erecting during (he pact season a commodious pavilion, which will afford all necessary accommodation even when a full membership is attained. Another work accomplished to the satisfaction of members and improvement of the green was the erection of concrete- retaining "all and pathway along the south bank, where previously'the players were forced to.stand on the green, to its detriment. The membership was the came as in the previous season, viz :—Fifty-five members and 23 honorary members. .The Junior Vcnnaiit was won by the club's team—A. W. Parton, L. Brown, 11. A.
