THEFT OF MONEY AND / CLOTHES.

AUCKLAND, This Day. A camphor wood chest, containing about £50 worth .of clothes and £573 in money, was stolen from a Chinese civ gineer on the Admiralty tanker Nucula on the day the vessel arrived at Auckland. It is believed the box was thrown overboard, and that the contents arc still aboard the vessel, but detectives are unable to trace . them .or get a duel as to the thief.
