INTERCESSORY SERVICE
Tho citizens' weekly inta'cessary service, which was held in the Concert Chamber, Town Hall, yesterday, was well attended. Major J.*B. Muciarlune presided. Scripture portions were read as follow: —Exodus, 3 eh. 1-15 verses, by tho chairman; 27th Psalm by Mr. C. Brown; aud Luke, 9 eh. 46-62, by Mr. J. L. Hay.' Prayer was offered by the Rev. William Shircr and Mr! W. J. Mason. . Mr. J. Mann officiated at the piano in the accompaniment of appropi late hymris.
