Tho success of tho Gold Nuggets Ball to bo hold at tho To\yn Hall and Concert Chamber to-night, in aid of Gunner Palrick, seems assured, as tickets have sold remarkably well. Dancers will appear in fancy dress, ajid with the decorations and lighting of the best, tho largo hall pieseni. v. pleasing spectacle. Valuable, prizes will bo awarded tv the wearers of tho best fancy dresses. A feature of iho entertainment will bo tho drawing of tho Citizen-Soldiers' Art Union. The proceeds of tho ball will go to Gunner Patrick, who was unfortunate enough to lose hie right hand as a result of the accident, which occurred at tho recent pageant at Newtown Park. It is anticipated that Gunner Patrick will benefit to a large extent, and he proposes to devote the money to purposes of study.
