LONDON, 2Glh June. The Exhibition authorities have prohibited the steer-roping contests in the Wembley Stadium.
LONDON, 20th June. Ihe "Daily Express" says Mr. Coehraue, the orguniiai- of the rodeo, his legal adviser, and Mr. Tex Austin, at a con-ference-last night decided to suspend the steer-roping contests, which have been held privately at the Wembley stadium, pending the summonses, which are due for hearing on Tuesday. Mr. Cochrane said the public performances of the rodeo would continue. "It is admittedly a rough game, but it is a genuine sport, played by men and women who count for a good deal in the development of the Empire."
