DUNEDIN EXHIBITION
TURNING THE FIRST SOD.

DUNEDIN, This Day. Judging by the preliminary arrangements, already well in hand, the ceremony of turning the first sod for the New _ Zealand and South Seas Exhibition is going to be a memorable and impressive spectacle. The ceremony is to take place on Saturday week, and 'viil be preceded by a procession through the city. A moving picture will be taken of the procession and ceremony. Sir veorge Fenwick, Sir Francis Bell, the Hon. C. E Statham, M.P., Mr. T. M. Wilford, M.P., and the Mayors of Wellington and (;hnstchurch have accepted positions as vicepresidents of the Exhibition. Mr. Mcssey, the Hon. Mr. Downie Stewart, and the Mayor of Dunedin (Mr. H. L. Tapley) Have accepted the ippaiatnwnt as vice-patrons.
