LOKDON, 19th June/ A Primitive Methodist conference at Newcastle adopted a resolution expressing grave concern at the increasing association of members of the Royal I'amily with the Turf. The resolution says: "We regard horse-racing as largely rq 7 sponsible for tho widespread gambling which is terribly menacing in its effect upon the young life of the nation. Some steps should be taken,,to focus the opinion of all Free Churchhien, in order that their emphatic protests should reach the ears of the ruling house."
