Miss Estelle Beere will produce two of her original dance-plays, at the Grand Opera House oh Saturday and Monday, with a matinee on the Saturday. Special interest, centres .in. the' :entertainment, for in addition to many new faces as well as former friends, Miss Beero is introducing to the public a, mala classic dancer of exceptional promise, Mr. Jack Alqmss It is from Miss"Beere1 s school that iliomas O'Carrqll, now Jan Caryll of London fame, came forth, and it Will interest many to see a new male dancer make his "first impression." For him, Miss Beere has conceived the role of Harlequin in "La Poupee Feerique." His partner, Joan Beere, plays the part of La Poupee, and in their duet they do many startling "lifts"- and steps of elevation. The White Rabbit is entrusted to little Peggy Welch, a child' of much promise. In the second part, a Greek dance-story gives scope' for'some full-stage ballets and ensembles. Modern dancing will also find its place on the varied programme. The Hqn. Joan Ogilyie-Grant, the 16-yiiar-old' daughter of Lord and Lady S,trathspey, will give an exhibition dance. Special scenery and lighting efforts have been arranged. The orchestra is in the capable handa of Mr. Tip. Wilson. ' " ' "
