SHORTT'S THEATRE.
"Nanook 01 tha North," the remarkable Pathe. feature showing at Shprtt's Theatre, is the first motion picture to depict the actual life of the Eskimo, it being a truthful and vivid story of father and mother Eskimo and all the little Eskimos at home. Between 1912 and 1918, Mr. Flaherty made five expeditions, covering the Ungav'a Peninsula and part* of Baffji's Land, guided by Eskimos. He accompanied them as they travelled with their families, winter 'and summer, subsisting wholly upon their catches of fish., seals, and walrus. All these activities are shown in "Nanoqk of the North," wlu"ch Mr. Flaherty photographed, developed, printed, and projected in the frozen, barren Iforth The supporting films are excellent,.
