MESSRS. REID AND GRAY, LTD.,
Implement Manufacturers, Palmerston North.
The above firm are not exhibiting, and seldom do at any show; nevertheless they are equally interested .in catering to the farmers' needs, from a machinery point of view, with any importer or manufacturer in the Dominion. A special show-time display of general farm and agricultural implements is being made at their Eangitikei street showrooms. To this every visitor to Palmerston North will be extended a' hearty welcome. Here you will see, among other New Zealand-made machinery, ■ the lime, basic slag, and manure distributor. This machine has been specially constructed by Messrs. Reid and Gray to suit the New Zealand conditions. It has been proved that the only reliable method of distributing lime |or slag is'with the "Star" feed, and by means of change of speed. The old method of the sliding bottom and sidelifting jates is out of date and unsatisfactory. Come and see this new lime sower; it will interest you. Various kinds of machinery are on display at the firm's establishment, including the Hornsby oil engines, the oilwel] windmill, ploughs, harrows, rollers, and a ho9t of lines of particular interest to the agricultural community. Will you call when in Ealmerston North?
