General Russell, New Zealand, farewelling twehty-iive public schoolboys, who sailed aboard the Corinthic from Southampton, and are settling in: New Zealand, said: "We are lookiHg to you to carry on the work of Empire; and to be better farmers than we are to-day. Do not repeat in the drawing-room what you hear on the farm, and do not gossip. Keep your mouths shut, year ears and eyes open, and use your brains as well as your muscles.""
