A NEW ATLANTIC LINER.

The Atlantic Transport Company's liner Minnctonka, which was launched at Belfast in January last, shares with her sister ship, the Minnewaska, the distinction of being one of the largest and certainly one of the best-equipped vessels water-borne in the British Isles since the outbreak of war in 1914. With a gross tonnage of no less than 21,998 she will be the largest vessel to make London her home port for departure and arrival.

The liner has accommodation for 369 first-class passengers, and only first-class passengers are carried. The entrances of the ahip are all lined from floor to ceiling with oak panelling. The magnificent dining saloon seats 322 persons, is 10ft high, and extends the whole breadth of the vessl. The staterooms on the lower promenade deck are situated in a large deckhouse and have private and semi-private bathrooms. The ■walls and ceilings are framed, panelled, and finished white, and the furniture is of oak. Each room is fitted witli a metal enamelled cot bedstead and upcer folding berth and sofa. Provision for electric heating is made in all first-class staterooms and suite sit-ting-rooms, and independent fans are nlso installed in each cabin, in addition to the main ventilation. These staterooms are all appropriately supplied with the latest furniture and conveniences, and no expense has been spared in the ar'■anrrement and furnishing of the staterooms throughout.
