FRAUDULENT CONVERSION
LAND AGENT PLEADS GUILTY.
Frederick Joseph Fanning, a wellknown Wellington land agent, pleaded guilty before the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon to fraudulently converting to his 'own use the som of iilOO entrusted to him by one William VVhelan. On the application of Mr. H. F. O'Leary, Mr. Justice Chapman deferred sentence until Friday. Prisoner was remanded in custody.
