THE TERRACE.
•The committee of The Terrace school reported that playground improvements had been made. The City Council had agreed .to remove the.sharp comer on the north side of the school, and form a footpath, and shrub planting was contemplated. In case of further widening of road at this point, the city engineer deemed it wiser that the school should not place the war-memorial on the proposed site mentioned in the last annual report. A site on'the east of the boys'- tennis court had been : selected for the memorial. The work of the echool had progressed smoothly and well. There had been no changes. in . the staff during the year. Mr.- Leslie and all the teachers had worked conscientiously and well in the best interests of the whole school.
•A committee was elected as follows:' —Mr. A. Johnston (chairman) Mes* "dames F. Forde, and P. E. Tate, Messrs. J. Darling,. H. R. Carey, A. Blosham,-T. R. Lawson, E* J. Shearme, and H. Graves. '
