The steel, plant ' at the' Lithgow Ironworks is idlers the-result. of the dismissal of two men who. refused extra work oil the furnaces on Sunday. , The union. contends' that Sunday work is a violation of the men's award. The matter of overtime has been in dispute for 'some time,, and as the full strength of the union is behind the strikers, the.trouble, threatens to stop the whole of the works.
