EDUCATIONAL APPOINTMENTS.
The Minister of Education has .receiy,ed a letter from the Auckland Wome)i .Teachers' Association, expressing satis-/ faction at the appointment of. Siliss. \ Dwyer and Miss Beg§ to positions in connection with the primary .school system. Miss Dwyer is a specialist in the: teaching of home science and do- ■ mestic arts to girls, and has been appointed an inspector ,under the Education' Department to deal with this spec-^ ial phase of school work '.'. Miss Begg"" has been authorised by the";; Minister to report specially on child welfare work throughout the Dominion, particularly • so far as this concerns % the Education Department.
