RED CROSS AFFAIRS

Mr.-Burnett presided over the ordinary meeting of the Wellington. Rod Cross Executive held on Tuesday afternoon. There was a good attendance of members Mr Burnett 'considered that the glassed-in verandah at the Red Cross Home was a great improvement. Other small improvements were suggested.-- Lady Luko wrote resigning from tho' committee. Nathan wrote saying, that as she would be away from Wellington for about eighteen months, her. name had better bo taken off the committeo.. It was; resolved however, that Mrs. "Nathan be granted leavo of absence for that time. The chairman stated that the bowling green at Puksora was being put in order by the local committee from money sent ■from this branch. He and Captain Galloway intended paying a visit to Pukeora noxt week.
