LONG TACK SAM.
Almost' every available seat at the Grand Opera House was occupied last evening when Long Tack Sam and his following of Chinese acrobats, jugglers, balancers, and illusionists again submitted their remarkable act. , The audience expressed its delight at each and every effort of the "performers, among whom the principal—Long Tack Sam himself —stood out as a showman of pronounced ability. The vaudeville section of the programme includes Jack Cannot, Eddie and Decima M'Lean, The" Two Vagabonds, Audrey Knight, the Hanlon Brothers, and Bemand, with his team of trained pigeons, also contribute to the success of the bill, whiph will again be presented this evening. Through the good offices of the manager of the "Long Tack Sam" Company, the ex-service men undor treatment at the Red Cross Home, in Hobson street, are to be the guests of the company^at a ■matinee entertainment on Saturday afternoon. On behalf of the men concerned, the society expresses its warm, appreciation of the generous action on' the part of the company..
