AUCKLAND, This Day. . At tlie Supreme Court to-day, Mr. Justice Herdman sentenced Rangataiki Hiria, a Maori youth, to 18 months' hard labour for breaking and entering at Rotorua. Jimmy Kohu, a young Maori, was sentenced to 18' months' hard labour for theft of a horse at Tauranga. Walter Henry WConnell was sentenced to 12 months' hard labour for false pretences at Rotorua: Frank Edward Johnstone,' a lad, was admitted to probation for three years for breaking and entering with intent to steal.
