. Mr. E. Page, S.M., presided at today's sitting of the Magistrate's Court. Leonora Parker, with a previous conI viction for drunkenness, was also charged with committing a breach of her prohibition order, and of being idle and disorderly. On the first two charges she was convicted and discharged, and on the vagrancy charge she was sentenced to twtelve months' detention. "I'll never do it, anyhow," remarked accused, as she left the dock. "If Igo there, I'll do nothing." One first offender for drunkenness was fined 10s, and another was advised by the Magistrate to take out a prohibition order, and was also convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon within three months. I Frederick Langford, who appeared for sentence on the charge of the theft of a suit case valued at £8, was admitted to probation for a period of three years. One of tha conditions is that he takes out a prohibition order against himself.
