KARORI CLUB

Tne Karori Club completed its aggregate competitions on Saturday afternoon with a match at 900 and 1000 yards. For longer range shooting the weather conditions approximated to the-impossible. Rifleman C. M. Ching headed the list ■ tor_ the clay with a gross score oE 70, while Rifleman H. V. Croxton was best oft the rifle with 68. Both were good scores under the conditions. The club's championship for the season has been won by Rifleman A. V. Swansou by a. substantial margin of points. Kineman Swanson's shooting .this season has been of a very high standard indeed, and his aggregate, obtained at all ranges and under all sorts of weather conditions, averages just on 90 points per 100. Another feature oE the season's championship was the consistently good shooting done by Rifleman G. S. Taylor, who, as a junior class marksman, has fired into third place. The club's handicap aggregate resulted in a close finish between Riflemen 0. M. Ching and A. I. Coleman, the former jnst winning by 2 points. This is young Ching's first season with the.rifle, and his success, besides being well merited, gives promise ot even better results in the futnre. Details of highest, aggregates and scores:—
