HOCKEY
V.M.C.A. CLUB.
The anniial meeting of the V.M.C.A. Hockey Club was held last evening, Mr. W. Eglia presiding over an attendance of about twenty members. The election »of officers for the ensuing year resulted : —President, Mr. W. Eglin; vicepresidents, Messrs. K. Henry, W. Morpeth, G. P. Shepherd, G. Fildes, A. Philpotts, G. M. Silver, and L. J Brabin; club captain, Mr. H. Stuptoe; secretary, Mr. G, Beale; treasurer, Mr. L. H. Petrie.; hon. auditor, Mr. K. White; Wellington Hockey Association delegate, Mr. G. Fildes; committee, Messrs. T. Guy, K. Sword, G. Fildes, and L. Wadham; selection committee Messrs. K. Sword, G. Beale, and H. Steptoe. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Mr. W. Eglin, who presented to the club a hockey stick for competition between members.
