AUCKLAND, This Day.. Roland Blair, who was sentenced" on Friday to seven days' imprisonment for making small bets at "tote" odds, was released from gaol this morning and set free on receipt of instructions from the Governor-General.
Nothing has been heard as to the result of the request for Blair's reinstatement in his position at the TeleTaph ■Office. , ' ° '.
