The Okinemuri Jockey Club's, Meeting was ■ opened yesterday at Paeroa in fine weather, and in the presence ol a good attendance. The totalisator handled £30/712 10s, as against £23,900 10s last year. Results:— Handicap Hurdles, of 175 soys; one mile and a'half.—Explorer, 11.3, 1; General Rose, 9.13, 2; Rosullus, 9.4, 3. Also started: Keystone 10.4, Hyttus, Mahgoloire 9.6, Marble Slab 9.3, Lucullent, Panchito 9.2, Bramble Twig 9.0. Won., by a length and a half, third horse two lengths back. Time, 2min 55 2-ssec. Netherton Welter Handicap, of 175 soys; seven furlongs.—Esthonia, 8.0, 1; Some Fashion, 7.12, 2; Shebang, 7.11, 3.
