A very attractive programme has beenarranged for next Saturday's meeting at the Athletic Park. The net proceeds will be devoted to the fund to defray the medical and other expenses incurred by H. E. A more deserving object than this fund has seldom been placed before the sporting public of Wellington. Wilson all through his athletic career has given of his best Three times since his return from the .war he has gone abroad to represent New Zealand, each trip involvina a considerable monetary sacrifice, and his accident ■ a broken kneecap, incurred while competing for the Dominion, has definitely ended his . athletic career.
