MURRAY RIVER CREW WIN TEST.

ADELAIDE, This Day. , Owing to bad weather the race to decide the rowing team to represent Australia at the Olympic Games was not rowed until Sunday, and. resulted in a win for the Murray Bridge team from West Australia, with Victoria third, and Tasmania fourth. Time, 6min 9 3-ssec, an Australasian record.
The selection some time ago of the Murray Bridge team raised a storm of argument in the Commonwealth, and the crew were in consequence called upon to vindicate its selection, which it has apparently done. The rowing, events at the Olympic Games will last for five 1 :' dyh ,mornmg and afternoon, on 10th to 14th July, both days inclusive.
