SYDNEY, 9th'March. At the Stadium last night Tommy ■Uren beat George Eagel on points. The contest was marked by heavy slogging. Uren forced the pace, and inflicted the greater amount of punishment. Both men frequently adopted doubtful tactics, but the referee did not see fit to interfere.
MELBOURNE, 9th March. In a boxing contest, Jock Niven v. Jerry Sullivan, the referee stopped the men in the tenth round, and awarded the fight to Niven. '
