AUCKLAND, 9th March. University opened their match against Eden by batting all the afternoon for 316 runs. Metge scored 106. Parnell met Graft-on-and scored 221. Grafton replied with 26 runs for three wickets. North Shore, who were Without C. Dacre, scored 336 against Ponsonby, Frater making 141. Frater scored a double century last Saturday.
