A BUSY WEEK.
Since his return to Wellington on Saturday, the' Prime Minister has had an exceedingly busy time picking up the threads of eDpartment business, and discussing various matters with interviewers. Cabinet met yesterday afternoon for tlie first time since Mr. Massey's return. All the members of the Government were present. Callers on the Prime Minister to-day included. Mr. Edwin W. Gunsaulus, Cori-sul-General for the United States, and the Vice-Consul, Mr. John E. Moran, who paid an official visit; Commodore Alistair Beal, Commanding Officer of the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy and Naval Adviser to ithe Government, who only arrived in New-., Zealand on the eve of Mr. Massey's departure for the Imperial Conference, and therefore, did not have an opportunity of calling on him then; and Mr. George Nesbitt, a member of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales.
