A conference oi railway managers began at Euston Hotel at _ o'clock on Monday afternoon and continued at length with the intervention of the Trades and Union Cpngress mediators. It was followed by summoning the locomotive men's representatives at 9 o'clock. The Conference lasted until 4.30 a.m. ■The official statement says that.immer diate resumption of work has been agreed on. Mr. Bromley states that the terms are very .satisfactory to the men.
