SEPARATIST THREATS
TO KILL BRITISH CONSUL.
BERLIN, 27th .January. A Ludwigshafen telegram to. "The Lokal Anzeiger" states that one Separatist leader threatened that, if Mr. R. Clive returns to' Munich, he will be murdered, because what he has done to the Separatists in the Palatinate cannot be left unrevenged. f
Mr. Clive, British Consul-General at Munich, was on a mission to. the Palatinate to report to the British Government on the feelings of the inhabitants towards separation from Germany. He reported that the majority were not in favour of it.
