The Berlin correspondent of "The Morning Post" says: "The effect of rentenmarks upon the life.of the German people is most remarkable. The workers now have regular fixed wageß. Though large classes have to live on half their pre-war incomes, tlley now know what they earn, and what they "can buy. The shops are again full of necessaries and ■luxuries. Confidence iswestored. Public and private affairs are being conducted on the basis of a sure expectation of a stable currency. There is a feeling that the whole nation is just waking to full energy to begin a new era."
