RECORD FOR HALFBRED.

DTINEDIN, This Day. • The wool sale was continued to-day. A record for halfbred wool was established for 3 bales of super Corriedale from the Hopetown estate, which fetched 32d. The most notable rise has been in halfbreds, the average being 2d. There was a particularly keen demand for finer quality wools. Bellies and pieces of all descriptions sold at a considerable advance on December rates, and locks also brought much enhanced prices.
