NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION
Arrangements for the next New Zealand Championship Rifle Meeting, to be Held at Trentham, and commencing on 18th March, are well in hand. Keen competition is assured for the famous "Ballinger" Champion Belt, the blue riband of the meeting. First-class catering has been arranged foi', equal to the standard of last year, the charge for which is five shillings per day. -Blankets, mattress, and ground sheet will be issued to each competitor at a charge of five shillings for the meeting. The Press representatives will be the guests of the association; special. accommodation being provided for them. The following further donations have been received :—Wellington Racing Club, £5 ss; Ballinger Bros £3 3s; P. Cooper, Ltd., £2 2s; Kemp-" thorne. Prosser, Ltd., £2 2s; and from Blenheim, Messrs. W. J. Paynter, E Parker, .and W. Girling, M.P., £2 2s each. Last year the membership reached 660. Thie year ij, should be nearer 1000.
