POLICE DISPERSE UNEMPLOYED

At an unemployed demonstration in Cologne against the drastic reduction of the unemployment dole, following in-flammatory-speeches, the crowd became threatening. The police fired over their heads. The unemployed replied with shots from automatic pistols. ' A police inspector was wounded in the leg. The police charged and dispersed the crowd.
