MISCHIEVOUS REPORT
SYDNEY COAL STEIKE UNLIKELY.

tvt w,r SYKNEY. 23rd January. Mr. Wilhs,.the secretary of the Coalminers Federation, denies that there is any probability of a general strike of coal miners.
He states that the reports of such an eventuality are incorrect, misleading, and nfißchievous.
A cablegram which was published yesterday stated that the Coal-miners' Federation was placing before the proprietors almost immediately a demand for a complete operation of the 1919 ] o tr which included a six-hour day, hank to bank, and a five-day week.
