AT HOSPITALS AND HOMES

Through the thoughtfulness of the governing bodies and the staffs of the hospital and of the various benevolent homes m the city and suburbs, andalso owing to the kindness of many' private donors of gifts of all kinds, Christmas Day wa^made bright for many hundreds ot mmates of.these institutions. In all cases the rooms were tastefully decorated, with flowers, foliage, and flags, bpecial delicacies were provided at all meals, .and in many instances welcome gifts were made. Carols were sung and enjoyable musical programmes were rendered. •
