Teams, representing - : -the Canterbury and Wellington United Bootmakers played a match at Kelburn Park fo-day. fhe visitors made a. very promising opening, registering 199 runs before lunch, and losing only four wickets. The principal scorers ware: Vivian 43, O'Brien 22, Winter 18, Timlin 68 not out> and Hamilton 40 not out.
