COURT CASES
Police and indictable cases were dealt with by Mr. E. Page, 5.M... at the Magistrate's Court yesterday. Arthur Doughty, alias Hall Herbert, alias Doughty Herbert, was remanded until Tuesday on a charge of the theft of a pair of trousers valued at £2 10s, the property of Patrick Scrimshaw. Charged with the theft as a Government set vant.of £6 7s lid, an accountant named Morris Domb was further remanded until 19th inst., bail being renewed as previously. Arthur Harold" Anderson, 31 years of age, and a labourer by occupation, pleaded not guilty to a charge of breaking and entering the shop of Ardrey and Co., and stealing sandals to the' value of £2 7s 6d, and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Bail was fixed in two securities of £200.
