PRESBYTERIAN ASSEMBLY

CARE OF FEEBLE-MINDED.

(BY TELEGRAPH—PRJBS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The Presbyterian Assembly resolved to urge the Government to appoint a commission to inquire into the whole question of the care of feeble-minded, the treatment of "border-line" cases, and the working of the mental hospitals. It was resolved that it is undesirable to introduce the Young Citizens' League into the Sunday School organisation. The Assembly also received a report on the evils of dual control in the New Hebrides, and expressed satisfaction that Mr. Massey had brought the matter up at the Imperial Conference.
