GRATEFUL WIDOW'S BEQUEST.

LONDON, 27th November. The "Daily Express" states that the famous lawyer, Juan Lacierva, has received a reward of five million dollars as the result of a great lawsuit. He was counsel for the .widow of Senor Romagnera, and succeeded in upsetting Senor Roma-gnera's will, which left the whole of his estate, of fifteen million dollars, to. the Bishop of Madrid, on the ground that the testator was afflicted with religious mania. The widow has just died; and left one-third of her estate to her counsel, who thus receives a record fee. Senor Romagnera made his fortune in South America.
