MIRAMAR COMPETITIONS

The Miramar match for the gold button presented by Mr. J. L. Petley -was played on Saturday. A. E. Conway proved to be the winner with a' net score of 76. He was closely followed by J. T. Tucker, 78.

A. E. Russell won the medal competition, played at the same time, with a score of 91, handicap 16, net 75. T. H. Gibson (with a similar handicap) returned a net score of 76.

In the final for the junior championship A. E. Russell easily defeated G. Magnus.

The Prince of Wales Cup ,was won by A. A. Stichbury, who defeated ,R. W. Scott somewhat easily. S. A. Wiren, in the final match of 36 holes for the Webb Memorial Cup, defeated A. B. Hamilton by 4 up and 3, and is.the first winner of the cup, which is competed for by. juniors only. The last match of the season, a mixed foursome, will be played next Saturday.
