(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPIRWHT.) SYDNEY, 25th November. At a night cycling carnival, G. Halpin defeated "Jumbo" Wells in a halfmile match race. The time was lmin 5 2-ssec, Wells winning one of the three heats in l^un 6sec.
