The man, William Murray, who was reported missing from his home in the city, was found at Lower Hutt, and returned to his home.
Tramway "traffic in Willis street was considerably disorganised and inconvenience was otherwise caused-by the bursting of a sewer a little below the junction of Willis and Aro streets. In order that the break might be tackled, it was found necessary to dig in under the car lines, and consequently tram passengers had to change cars, and the flooding of the roadway and one or two properties also caused .1 good deal of trouble. The break was not finally "made good until late oa Saturday night.
