SHORTT'S THEATRE.
A picture full of human interest is being shown at Shorty's Theatre this week under the titl# of "Gimme." It is the story of a wife who was neglected by her husband in providing her with' small luxuries. After being established in the city as a designer, Fanny marries a, son of one of the rich clients of the firm, but as the result of her marriage tho couple are disinherited by the father and have to face life destitute. Fanny's husband ultimately finds w6rk, but Fanny is unable to live up to bfir calling, and is compelled to borrow from her employer, who when he finds out that Fanny is married calls in his loan, and Fanny has great trouble in raising the required money. Her husband forsakes her when he hears of her plight, but on learning the true reason for the borrowing of the money fee realises his shortcomings and the (jwo start married life again. The aecond feature on the programme is a stirring picture ' entitled "Flames of Passion." There are good supports and excellent music.
