LONDON, 23rd November. The report Tecomniends the continuance of the Institute and its amalgamation with the Imperial Mineral Resources Bureau, the substitution of the Executive Council by representatives of scientific institutes, trade and commerce, Government Departments, and the Dominion High Commissioners. The recommendations were adopted by the Imperial Economic Conference. It appears that Britain's contribution towards the upkeep of the reconstituted Institute will be £9000 yearly for four years, the Governments of- the Domin^ ions, India, and the Crown colonies contributing together £8000.
